4/29/20 Update

Hello to the CBC Family!

We miss you and look forward so much to the time when we can start reopening and meeting together physically again!  Your elders and other leaders have been discussing when and how that might take place, as we continue to honor our government authorities.  We know this has been hard on many of us, but we also know that God is using this — and we are still the church and will continue to do what is most important as the church no matter what!

We plan to talk about what this means this upcoming Sunday - being the church regardless of how we can or cannot meet together.  We still have purpose, a mission, an “essential service.”  We want to meet, but we need to care for all our people - safely and effectively.  And we are preparing for this! This Sunday we again will be celebrating Communion towards the end of the service.  So we encourage you to join us online for this important discussion, and to have some communion elements prepared for Sunday.

We also want to remind you we have small groups meeting by online video, and some of us gather to pray weekly (Wednesdays

at 5pm we have our Zoom prayer meeting), and you could join!  Contact the church office if you want to join us or would like help facilitating other video gatherings.

As you probably know, things are changing very quickly.  We are listening to God and our earthly authorities, and continue to prepare for what is ahead!  Together we really can make a difference!
