COVID-19 is an infectious disease. Telling anyone that it’s “just a flu” is misinformed. It is a significant disease. Older adults or those with other health conditions are at higher risk for infection. Some good news is that children appear to be more resistant to COVID-19. However, remember that 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us that “God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” We live in and by faith, and we recognize that God is always good. We can take our fears to Him and will do all we can to support each other through it all. We will continue to update you as needed through emails, text messages, and Facebook. And for any church related questions, you may contact our office at 760-872-8136 – please leave your name and a phone number if we need to call you back. Please also remember to pray for those affected by the virus, those struggling with fear and anxiety, and our health care workers and government leaders. With God’s love and protection we will continue to be victorious in Him, Pastor Rick and the Elder Board
With all that it going on with school closures, and being asked to practice social distancing, the CBC Office hours are limited. Please call and leave a message, as we are checking them daily 872-8136. Thank you for understanding. We appreciate and love you all.
